You and I saw the match similarly evidently, you summed up how and why I scored the match the way I did perfectly.

    Yes he did.

He got screwed hard by both the Crouching Tiger and the Hidden Dragon

Neither of them let up for 12 rounds, it was a none stop pounding

The knockdown got wiped out by Rungvisai losing a point for headbuttes. That makes the scoring easy, 8-4. I'm not just using compubox numbers. Anybody with eyes could see that Gonzalez was landing twice as many shots as Rungvisai and was levels above him.

The only way you could score the fight for Rungvisai is if you didn't care how much Gonzalez outlanded him, didn't give a **** about clean punching, defense, or ring generalship and scored it on a single issue: damage. If you thought that Rungvisai did more damage with one punch than Gonzalez did with two, then I can see you giving more rounds to Rungvisai. If you just ignore all the other scoring criteria, I guess you could give it to Rungvisai on that single basis.

Arguably, he might have done more damage to Gonzalez with 284 punches than Gonzalez did to him with 441. I'm not sure if that's true, but he was fresher and less marked up at the end of the fight. This could be because Gonzalez marks or cuts easier. Gonzalez might have looked more tired because he threw a hundred more punches or because he didn't have the same level of conditioning. If you just want to go by that eye test at the end of the fight for who looked worse off, then okay Gonzalez looked worse off.

If you want to score the fight round by round then it was probably anywhere from 9-3 to 7-5 for Gonzalez. Gonzalez outlanded Rungvisai massively in 5 rounds. Rungvisai outlanded him by 2 or 3 punches in rounds 1,2, and 11. The 5th and 7th were close enough to be swing rounds. None of the other rounds were close. The very absolute best you can give Rungvisai in that fight is 5 rounds.

roman is better fighter . hes such a small guy i think even at the small weight he is at he should be one lower.

I bet on SSR to win so made some good money but overall I thought Gonzalez just about deserved to get the nod. It certainly wasn't a robbery but I was a bit surprised SSR was given the win.

No and quite frankly he didn't deserve p4p number 1. He gets touched up too much and his skills aren't transferring up in weight.

I don't like to call robbery ever but this absoluely was, Gonzalez still won the fight despite being constantly headbutted
