I've been asked by several friends today if I thought Nathan was injured going into that fight due to the lack of right hands being thrown.605 punches by Natan and he'd have been lucky to have thrown 35 rights what would he have thrown with two fully functional hands?
If it is the case he's done his fans a big disservice
    What's people's thoughts?

Think Hearn said Cleverly hurt his right hand.

Billy , one would hope he hasnt blagged his way to a payday. Theres been no mention or rumours beforehand so i genuinely feel he was just rubbish. What are your thoughts on nathans approach to training and his choice of coach?. I had high hopes for nathan early in his career. Vince took him as far as he could and if he'd just changed things when he needed to step it up and learn more i think we would be seeing a far better boxer today. He just seemed to plateau and not get any better. And with this new set up i would say he's forgotten a lot aswell.

see what you are saying but Clev himself said he punched Bellew on forehead in 2nd round and just stopped using it for a while!!

    later on it seemed ok

If hypothetically he was injured, pulled out with a week or two left I doubt thatd have gone down well, darren barker was blatantly injured before fighting sturm but wouldn't call that a disservice as it was his last chance for a payday

Yes Cleverly was injured going in and I also believe Tony Bellew carried him through the fight. I know Tony's not the greatest, but he's not that bad either. Terrible advert for British boxing.
I never paid for it, but I still feel cheated.

I wondered this as well, my thoughts were he was injured , and the powers that be knew about it but insisted the fight go on anyway.

And let's face it if clev had pulled out the whole Ppv would have had to have been cancelled.

he wasnt injured ,well he was fine in open training a day or 2 before..

it was like a prizefighter fight that went on 9 rounds too long

He wasn't injured, Bellew was right Clev felt a bit of his power in 2nd round and didn't want to throw his right after as he was worried about being knocked out. As I always said Kovalav took his heart, and he never wanted a fight. He ran like Mo Farah during fight, was there for a payday. Bellew has a better brain, better shot selections, is a better fighter than Clev - Simple

A hurt hand doesn't make you gas and cleverley just looked knackered to me.

I dont think his heart is in it anymore.

He clearly went into the fight with the injury as he never threw it during the fight to cause an injury.
