Was Cotto 'Drained' or 'Dehyrdrated' when fighting Pacquiao?

LOL.. you need to actually watch the fight.. Pac was testing his power in round 1, where it looked like Cotto was "beating that ass". Pac figured out Cottos "boxing" after a couple of rounds and was walking through his shots, beating him to the punch, and countering. 2lbs would have made 0 difference, oh and Pac could have knocked Cotto out from rounds 8 on but you can tell he didnt want to, he was looking at Bayless to stop the fight.

Cotto peaked too early in training IMO
He didn't look too great a few days before the fight

The 2 pounds wouldn't have made a difference. Manny beats him either way but he chose to make a big deal over a little issue so he has to deal with the criticism now.

You can't have it both ways. You can't say that 2 pounds wouldn't have made a difference and also say that Manny was justified to ask for the concession in weight. He was nitpicking in the negotiations. He should have just let Cotto weigh 147 and whooped that ass anyway and then no one would ever have any reason to discuss the weight.

He's been dehydrated for most of his fights anyways. He dehydrates so that he can put on 15lbs after the weigh-in and be extremely strong in the ring. thats a choice that his team makes because it makes them better, not worse.

Obviously the 145lb catchweight didn't help him. But fighting at 145lb instead of at JrWW doesn't help Pacquiao either.

Of course Cotto was dehydrated!! and he most certainly was over trained! and he wasnt feeling too good after eating some dodgy food the morning of the fight. I was watching the fight on TV and in-between rounds when i noticed an old asian looking bloke hanging around the Cotto corner, and he passed the water bottle up to cottos new trainer.....i think that water was doctored, but i cant prove it. :rasta

No. He did not look drained nor did it appear to effect his game.

Cotto was shot just like Roach said so. Cherry picking at it's finest.
