Was Cotto 'Drained' or 'Dehyrdrated' when fighting Pacquiao?

I'm a huge Cotto fan but I have to admit when Miguel stopped boxing and tried to trade he got the worse of it every time and it all took it's toll.

No one has mentioned the pictures of Cotto one week before the fight. He looked terrible.

So that it's the norm now? no one actually loses anymore? they're all just weight drained? Or lost because they lost a fight before?

I know we all have boxers we love, and it sucks when they lose. But they lose from time to time and we just have to except that. Not find minute details that cause them to "not really" lose.

    Cotto lost.

Get over it, and cheer him on next time he gets in the ring.

Would it not make sense to post these pictures with your post rather than us lot going on a search parade? It would save time.

He was neither of those. Probably just damaged goods.

i agree, even Pac didnt look as mean unlike back when he was at 130lbs. Cotto prepared well, just didnt have the right gameplan or atleast the discipline to stick to the game plan.

Thats the problem with these type of fighters. Sticking to a gameplan, especially if its to box around in circles, is not enough for them. The warrior in them always comes out. They just have to give it all, win or lose.

Miguels game plan didnt work effectively as it was planned to attack and pressure Pac in early round like what Morales did in Game 1. Coach Roach already checked this in Games 2 & 3 vs Morales that resulted to a more improved Pac fighting underpressure.

Miguel brought the Clottey fight in the early round assuming that he'll get the first crack and hurt Manny. Unfortunately, its the other way around.

He weighed in at 146 vs Clottey, I highly doubt the extra pound made any sort of difference... he looked great at the weigh in and on fight night
