Was Cotto weight drained for Pac? Cotto 146lb vs Clottey 147lb. The next fight Cotto 145lb vs Pac 144lb. If he was weight drained for Pacquiao I guess he was also weight drained for Clottey.

Not at all. He didn't look or fight like a weakened fighter. Of course, that doesn't stop a bunch of teenyboppers from claiming the opposite.

If a pound doesnt make a difference then why request for a 145 pound catch weights? Why it cant be at the ww limit? I mean didnt pac destroyed oscar at ww limit?

Yes! Cotto was severely weight-drained. He normally walks into the ring at 170+, which he can only safely do weighing in at 146+. But both fighters were highly disadvantaged. Pacquiao was horrendously bloated and over-bulked. He normally, comfortably, walks into the ring at 112 pounds (flyweight champ, lineal) and had to eat three bunches of bananas, 3 dozen eggs, 6 loaves of bread, eleventeen bowls of rice, 20 McDonald's royales with cheese(sic) and 100 protein shakes per day to maintain training without dying/losing one ounce. And even then, he could barely come in at 144. And that's A WHOLE POUND LIGHTER THAN THE WEIGHT LIMIT! :yikes

So, in conclusion, had either fighter won, it wouldn't have meant much for their legacy.

I'll agree to it too if i'm getting the biggest payday of my life. Its simple if "1 pound" "2 pound" dont make a difference then why pac wanted to fight at a bs catchweight in the first place if he already fought at ww limit before vs oscar?

can we say that Pac was "weight bloated" when he fought Cotto? hey he was campaigning at 130-140 (minus ODLH) at the time he fought Cotto.
