Nope. He looked strong and healthy on the night. Was just beaten by the better boxer. Was the catchweight necessary? If it was used as a measuring stick to see if Pacquiao could cut it at the weight against one of the top guys, then that's fine. But in hindsight, the catchweight was not needed. Although it's the fact that the belt changed hands at the catchweight that I don't like.
No. Cotto looked very good physically for that fight. Matter of fact, next to Quintana and maybe the first Margarito fight, that's probably the best he looked at a weigh-in while he was at 147. He also looked very sharp on fight night, or at least for the first few rounds. What effected Cotto the most that night was the lack of proper guidance in his corner, along with that ****ing uppercut that seemed to take the fight out of him.
Why do people talk about him weighing 146 against Clottey like that supports their *******ed agenda? Cotto was poor against Clottey as well!
:deal On top of this, Pac DUCKED the real champion Mosley after Mosley called their bluff and accepted the fight. Then Cotto looked like crap against Clottey, and Pac goes for Cotto instead
According to *****s, he sure was. Reality, of course not. Cotto never once complained about the weight before, during or after the fight.
No. He himself said the weight wasn't an issue. Cotto actually looked physically better in the weigh-in for Pac than he did some some of his previous weigh-in's such as against Jennings.
Of course not,Pac wanted Cotto to weigh LESS for NO reason whatsoever... 2 pounds was enough for Pac to turn down the fight.
