from Margarito' s end of the fight interview, he was saying that Cotto is being protected. Aside from scrutinizing his handwrapping from the beginning to the stopping of the fight prematurely, he thinks himself he was slowly being robbed from those instances. what if they fought at LA or Las Vegas, would the result be different?

Margo had won hardly any rounds and was getting beat on. He just would have taken unnecessary damage

Of course the result would be different in Nevada he's allowed to use plaster there. As Tony said he was just gettign warmed up he was only 89-82 down on the cards with 3 to play

If "scrutinizing" Margarito's handwraps is "protecting Cotto", then I'd say it's well warranted.

in the last 2 rds we saw, Cotto was getting stronger and Margo looking the opposite, this fight was only going one way, Cotto was going to finish the job.

Margarito is correct in saying that Cotto was protected. He was protected from Margarito's plaster laced hand wraps this time around. Margarito has taken a beating in every fight with a top contender since the plaster was discovered and eliminated from his arsenal.

REALLY TONY? OMG, HOW DARE THEY? KEEPING TONY FROM USING PLASTER! I'M GOING TO WRITE A LETTER TO THE COMMISSION AND TO THE GOVERNOR ON HIS BEHALF!

Dear New York State Athletic Commission,

I was informed by an interview with Boxer Antonio Margarito, aka the Tijuana Donkey Show, that you did not allow him to use plaster in his gloves and that he felt the fight was stopped prematurely in order to protect Cotto. As you must understand Margarito is a completely **** boxer without the use of plaster, he can't beat anybody of note without the plaster and therefore he feels that he should be allowed to use the plaster or at least allowed to put the same stuff Liston used on Ali. Therefore I fully expect the NYSAC to take steps to rectify this error by making this fight a No Contest, and ordering a rematch, and then on fight night driving Antonio to the local Home Depot to find the plaster of his choice.

    Best Regards,
