Whether it was "paper' when he won it is IRRELEVANT!! Beating SSM made him a LEGITIMATE and integral part of the Championship picture:good

Close yes, either way??:nono Cotto pulled it out and SSM was better than DLH THEN AND NOW. So I dont see how anyone could try and shade the win.

Cotto won the eleventh round and that gave him the points he needed. They split the first four, Cotto won the middle portion, and Sane came on later but lost the 11th which cost him.

SSM is and will always be better than DLH, the prime win is the most meaningful. And SSM has had th better and more active career after the second fight which was close and officially a WIN. DLH wouldnt fight Forrest or Wright ever and SSM did each twice. Oscar just doesnt measure up.

They were both great wins but IMO going up to fight an ATG at 154 for your first fight there and fighting to his terms is more impressive.

    Yeah meant to say Forrest.

How can Oscar be better? With a prime loss and less accomplished after that point? HE CANT!!!

Agree, I had Mosley by a point, but a draw would have been fair.

Nah.....Every fight between DLH and Shane were hella Competitive but the 2nd fight was a clear victory for DLH. These two competitors are equal in skill and its hard to predict who would win a rubber match b/c they are so evenly matched.

Cotto struggle as well and was rocked...after resorting to an illegal shot was the way the fight changed momentum. But Floyd was able to figure the fast southpaw out after round 4 or 5 and dominated.

Even after a similar foul like the one Cotto hit Judah with...Floyd was still able to come back and still dominate the action...but that saved Judah's ass from getting KO'd at the hands of Floyd. and that KD was more of a slip, although you gotta call it a knock down.

C'mon now Fredo...you know Cotto got tagged more than 3 times against Shane and he was buzzed by Shane too.....That KD you are talking about should have been called but in reality that was a slip more than a KD casued by a punch. Floyd had an easier time with Zab than Cotto did....if you need proof just look at their mugs after the fight....the only one who looked as if he just came out of a Spa Session was none other than Floyd himself.
