Was De La Hoya shy as a kid?

    I'm writing something for school about DLH in the media, and I remember hearing he was shy as a kid. Was this ever mentioned in his bio or anywhere else?

    Get his biography. I'm sure he had a kiddie boxing match with his older cousin, got beat up, cried and didn't box again for ages. He was 5 or something tho

    i remember somebody asked jin mosley about oscar in an interview or something and she said he is shy in real life.

    According to his auto-biography he was quite a shy kid, not exactly popular until he started to win more bigger tournaments in his later years. Can't quite remember her name but his first proper girlfriend only came around when he was like 16 or some ****.

    If you're interested in de la Hoya I recommend you get his auto-biography and check out one or two programmes made about him. These are good ones.

    :lol: News already came out last year here in LA that after months of photo expert analysis, the photos were found to be really good photoshops. They are fake. Still, the best thing to hapen to posters like Uliuli and Flexb.
