Do you know what the definition of robbed is my guy ? Haney was down 3 times and allowed to clinch for considerable amount of time, and was also on the floor atleast a dozen times and was lucky an extra knockdown wasn't called..... 1 Garcia 2 Haney 3 Haney 4 Haney 5 Haney 6 Garcia 7 Garcia 9-8 8 Haney 9 Haney 10 Garcia 10-7 11 Garcia 10-8 knockdown 12 Garcia 113-110 Garcia I gave Garcia an extra point in round 10 because it was a very dominant round on top of the knockdown.
The only robbery that Haney has had a hand in was against Loma. He was beaten well by Garcia, don't try and tarnish it with the usual Haney drama.
No. It would have been a robbery had Garcia not gotten the decision, however. Ryan didn't just win the fight, he CLEARLY won it.
I guess 112-112 is possible but I disagree with that outcome. No way was Haney robbed. In fact, a draw would have been extremely unpopular though I think there is a reasonable path to that score.
If Haney really wanted to retain his zero he should have pulled a Luis Santana and played dead after being blatantly fouled by Garcia shortly after the knockdown in rd. 7. If the fight can't go on he escapes with a DQ win. That's what Luis Santana did not just once but twice back in the '90s against Norris.
Garcia won by 6 points and 4 points when it should've been about two points either way or a draw. It was basically a robbery in the making, but Ryan ended up doing enough to reasonably get the nod.
Sure, it's an extreme card but it's just about plausible. In reality, that means you might see it - alongside cards scored win for the better fighter... Making a SD. Which is exactly what we did see. So I don't understand his problem?
Anyone who scored that fight a draw is either related to Haney or wears Mr. Magoo classes and couldn't see the screen. I personally think the idiot judge who scored it even needs some waterboarding to expose who paid him and how much to arrive at that desired conclusion.
