My thoughts exactly. I cannot understand though why some are calling for a ban.

There's no way for him to fake his legs trembling like that. He obviously suffered a severe concussion.

Abraham is lucky he got out of there with his hide intact. He's a piece of ****.

Man, what the ****? You guys see what you want to see.. it's obvious his right foot slipped sideways causing him to go down. He didn't dive.. damn.. and you claimed to have seen the fight?

Anyone who watched it knows clearly that he slipped going sideways when his foot gave out.

Come on dude. after watching him slip, you think that was on purpose? His left leg went completely sideways. It was obvious the mat was wet or something. Don't over- analyze.

Plus, he had already slipped early in the fight in that same spot. He was winning the round (nothing much had happened) and was five minutes away from a career-making victory.

Those logos are slippery. The same thing happened in the NCAA basketball tournament and they got banned as a result.

The thread starter is a ****ing moron.

You're in fighting mode and you just looking for that shot. Definate DQ, no banning.

Also those saying it was fake from Dirrell obvioulsy didnt see him crying for about 20 minutes after the DQ thinking he had been KO'd and had lost.

AA has boxed at the highest level and he thinks Dirrell is an actor.

Look, he wasnt acting and Arthur shouldn't be penalized badly for this.

Guys like Barrera, Pacquiao, Tyson, Dempsey, Mercer, Johansson and RJJ have all had similar things happen in fights. Arthur is not one to blame, he's a boxer that was desperately looking for a knockout punch, he was following Dirrells eyes and threw a punch, obviously with the intent of knocking him out, but I dont think he could of held back that punch as he was so desperately looking for the kayo.

These things happen, Dirrell should get his two points, Arthur should apologize and move on. They'll meet again.

Pointless argument. Try to to get on your knees and take a hook from a tank like Abraham!... Actually, why did Dirrell need to put on an act if he had the fight in the bag? God, some people just snap when others go on a lil bit to the extreme and want to ban their favorite boxers. I've said it and I will say it again - the way his brother behaved when Miranda got kayoed and the way he's acting now, f***, the Abraham bros have the same rights to be in the pro rings as Tyson after the bite and Golota after the low blows. THIS IS NOT A ZOO OR A ROMAN CIRCUS!!!

To the first, Jim Gray (Showtime) showed him the video and he still didn't see what he did wrong.

To the second, the man slipped in a water drenched corner that had already casued a stoppage at the beginning of a previous round. The only rule change this incident should change is how a corner cleans up after itself. Better yet, have two people ringside who's sole responsibility is to dry up the corners. Christ, tennis pays people to run after balls and watch lines, basketball has kids who run out and wipe up sweat, why can't boxing do something similar.

I've no idea if it was genunine or not, noone does, so won't comment on the incident, think AA should have been DQed.

Wasn't the cut caused by a clash of heads/head butt. What would have happened if AA would have gone down like a sack of spuds then? He was behind on the score cards so think he would have lost, but if we have everyone going down at every illegal action in a boxing match, it's going to turn into a very different game.

Get a rabbit punch, in the lead on the cards, go down: game set and match.
