Let me quote you: "Do you think your body cares whether you're on your knees or feet when you get hit on the chin?" I'm going to assume for the moment you're not joking. Lets puts aside for a moment that it makes no sense to speak of what your body "cares" for . The clear answer to your question is: yes, your body cares. A lot. The reason is because when you see a punch coming on your feet, you can brace for impact. This means tightening your neck muscles and having the ability to move with the punch. On second thought, I have to conclude your were kidding because the answer is so obvious.
:good I do think he was hurt but he acted like a drama queen afterwards. "Stop talking to me, let me breathe yall" Me and my boys were cracking up
was acting like a drama queen part of the act? Or had he stopped acting by then? I'm confused. Was he pretending to be a drama queen or was he genuinely being a drama queen? If the latter (i.e. genuine drama queen), then he wasn't acting, he was being himself. see what I mean?
I really don't know. What I can assume, though, is that punch did damage since he hit when he wasn't expecting it in addition to the way his neck snapped which is what results in KO's. So even if he did overplay it I think he badly hurt and the DQ was the right think to do.
Fake or not. AA literally cut Dirrell down to a man standing/sitting 3 foot tall. Then AA knoched him out. Congratulations!!
I've no clue. On the one hand the angle of the punch was everything but perfect for a KO punch and Dirrell's reaction seemed strange. On the other hand I don't think he's such a coward and it might be that AA's punch was much stronger than it looked on the pictures I've seen. Only thing that counts for me is: The only one Abraham and Sauerland can blame is Abraham. He deserved his first loss.
I guess you would have reacted much more normally if you had been cracked by AA while sitting down and not looking. You would have had the decency get knocked out in the "normal" way.
Not only that but look at the trajectory of the punch. Look where Abraham's elbow and shoulder are positioned in relationship to where the punch landed. There is no KO impact on that shot. Zero.
What qualifications should I have to know bull**** when I see it? You do realize where power comes from, correct? Any first year boxing fan should know the answer to this question.
Yeah. He had the "Abrafeather" lowered on him. atsch Again. Watch the post fight ring interview. Abraham clearly states it was a legal KO because Dirrell was 'like this'. To paraphrase: I was lying at the beginning of this interview, but now I'm telling the truth after being shown the replay.
