Was Dmitry Bivol Even Better Than Against Zurdo Than He Was Against Canelo?

    Hmm, I voted yes but he was excellent against both guys. All the people predicting a Zurdo KO look pretty dumb today. Zurdo was massive, he looked like a Cruiserweight but was levels below Bivol in skill. Bivol fought such a smart fight, managing distance and dictating the pace.

    Neither Canelo or Zurdo are close to Bivol’s skill level. I think Canelo Zurdo would have been a more competitive fight. I hope we can see Bivol Canelo 2 before the Beterbiev fight. Nothing flashy about Bivol, but he’s so disciplined, skilled and knows how to fight his type of fight. He’s also a great defensive fighter. A guy like Beterbiev has a chance to make him fight a different kind of fight because he’s so physically strong (and large) and powerful. The footwork might be the biggest difference in that fight but AB is also a very smart fighter. Smart fighters have a way of making you fight their fight. I see it as a 50/50 matchup and slightly favor Bivol because of his age.

    Yea, Canelo got off lightly, this version of Bivol looked sharper and more aggressive.

    None of those fights were close even though the judge's scorecards in some of them had them so

    Anyone who argues the Clenelo and Richards fights were close better be ready to fight me to the death because I have no patience for such idiocy and I will defend my Eurasian brother's honour with my life
