Donaire was trying to press the action but Rigondeaux just ran all night. I believe Donaire when he says he thought he won the fight or at least it should have been a draw.

Rigo just ran? He completely out-boxed Donaire all night, landed quality shots and even managed to hurt him. Scoring it a draw would've been an absolute disgrace.

I suppose we can just be thankful you're not a judge.

Donaire wasn't drained either - he just lost (comfortably) to the better man.

With all due respect I think your focus may be wrong, it was quite apparent Donaire aggression was used to create opportunities for Rigo, Donaire is a dynamic offensive fighter but he's not the savviest techniction and he met someone how used his explosiveness to expose his flaws, all other reasons for his loss can be chopped down to pure speculation.

Rigondeaux never hurt Donaire. It was a thumb in the eye that got Donaire in the 12th. Donaire managed to drop and hurt Rigondeaux in the 10th round. If Donaire wasn't fighting with an injured shoulder, his left hook would of even been more powerful and KO'd Rigo.

Really dude, really? Delusional fans are something else. :-(

Donaire got schooled, controlled and got his ass beaten. End of story. No excuses.

Yeah and we didn't see a 100% Donaire out there against Rigo.

Did you know that donaire weighted 142 pounds the night of the fight? and he never hurt Rigondeaux, he got a shot off the break and GR got up and won the rest of the round, GR hurt donaire that's why he never press the fight, he got clipped in the first and that's all she wrote, in the twelve he got hit with the left and he start running, looking for a way out, he was covering the eye and didn't react like it was a thumb, poke yourself in the eye and you will know what I'm talking about, 122, 126 it dosen't matter, he will get schooled again, he is lucky we don't have 15 rounds any longer.
