    i say yes, more notable names on his resume. sure hagler has great names but wins over the likes of duran himself and hearns are overshadowed by the fact those fighters best weights were below 160

    Which only goes to show how great he was at 135, cos Hagler was no slouch.

    I would give 160lb Hagler a solid chance of knocking out 135lb Duran.

    That's just me though. Mass-hole bias, ya know.

    Tough to say. Duran pretty much ruled his division with an iron fist for a decade, and is arguably the number one lightweight in history. But, Hagler's middlweight division was deeper, top to bottom and start to finish, than Duran's lightweight division. And it's not like Hagler wasn't a dominant champ, either.

    Pretty close call, either way.
