He was good enough to make Pacman model for the Filipino anti-junkie campaign...Pacman face down with Pusher cardboard next to him

Edwin Valero 27-0-0-0 (KO 27) was too much for modern humans...Anybody who compares himself to Edwin Valero always gets an L by KO answer

As of who is the better human...its irrelevant...Pacman was pimping his first lady for drugs in the streets, left her & denounces his child...Made the deal with the best promoter on Earth, bought a bleached plastic wife...Sat at Kosher tables, preached Mary virginity & ran for office

Valero was a more straight-forward guy

On that note, do you think he's more overrated than Ibeabuchi?

Valero had nothing on his record as good as drawing with Tua (even had that been the official result as it should've, instead of a W) or stopping Byrd.

He looked brilliant but was untested. I know Valero fanboys who think he'd knock out Pac and even Duran if they were in the same era. Valero has the type of style Duran thrives against. He'd murder Valero. Pac would have lit him up too.

So would have Guzman and even Soto. He was sooooooooo ridiculously over-hyped, and several of his contemporaries in his weight range would have probably beaten him with ease.

Lions live & die...many times without having a career defining fight

There is no logic to underrating Valero record, besides sugary simple emotional bias towards him...

He came slapped down everybody that was around, when he was badly cut vs De Marco we saw what he is made off in the primal level. A Very indomitable creature, hate it or love it, we never saw any indictation that Edwin Valero can be stopped....

We saw Pacman Dramatic HGH journey get him flattenned in every weight range...Edwin Valero, didn't want you to love him, didn't want to preach GOD or kiss ass to Bigger than life Bob, an Inca so no Romance...Indomitable, we have yet to see a human break his impressive feat, the only Undefeated world champion (2 weight classes) to retire kicking ass at 100% KO ratio...

If its easy, let some Human try it...Until then Edwin Valero is the man who is better than everybody else

Edwin Valero vs Anybody (not named Floyd) has to favor the will of the beast called Edwin Valero

Those type of guys are usually not fun to be around, they don't smile or sing Britney Spears songs, make excuses after getting flattened by picture perfect Right hands, he broke down humans & left bitter taste in their mouths...whenever their conqueror name is mentioned

    27-0-0-0 (KO 27)

The legacy of the beast lives on

I think death has greatly exaggerated what his real level was. From what I've seen, Pac body bags him for sure !

I always thought he was a bit raw and overrated from a punching power point of view. I recently rewatched a number of fights of his, and while I still consider him raw and an exposure waiting to happen, I can't really deny his punching power. He was hugely heavy handed for his weight, and had that type of Maidana like ability to land multiple heavy, hurtful shots on opponents, regardless of their styles or physical attributes.

We should not judge fighter outside the ring, usually fans try to take advantage of the overall Anti-Valero (Anti-human) accepted status, so by nature any normal peasant will hate Valero & hope that bringing up Valero will help their popularity contest cause

As fighters based of numbers & demeanor....Edwin Valero should be able to impose his will upon Pacman every time they meet in the ring or anywhere else...No reason (besides irrational human emotions) to think Edwin Valero can be beaten at 130

Floyd is the only person who can get a W vs Valero, that is based of the fact that Floyd is a master at not letting you hit him, so it will go to a decision, Valero has zero experience winning decisions...Its just raw crude numbers...

Back to popularity contests, to each his own, but some of us usually prefer an openly straight forward psychopath real-life villain that comes with a warning label, over any type....Edwin Valero made himself very clear...Peasants looked the other way & got shocked when he acted the way he is supposed to act...

Judging boxing vs character should be separated, although it gets blurry when we have strong opinions about charachter

He had a similar frame, except that he had a bigger skull & a bigger frame than Matthysse or Maidana. He could have easily relaxed into Welterweight like them, but Valero was very disciplined and wanted to maximize power at 130.

If Matthysse or Maidana came down to 130 (they can't due to relaxed mentality compared to Valero), they will still be slightly smaller framed than Edwin Valero.

Nobody is even close to Edwin Valero, the numbers speak 27-0-0-0 (KO 27) two divisions...There is a very good reason why fighters can't match his numbers, they are not good enough to be Edwin Valero

    Based of what?
As far as we know Valero can't lose (inside the ring)
