Was Erik Morales Robbed?

best he could have hoped for was a draw imo, if you were generous to him in some of the close rounds, 2nd and 3rd I think, which for me looked like Maidana rounds, but were given to Morales by lederman and kellerman for making a little rally after being outworked for the most part

I guess not a robbery, but I had Morales winning by a wide margin of 3 points. 116-113 I thought it was pretty clear that Morales took him to school and whooped his ass and made him look like a ffookin loser. An amateur, a novice, If I were Maidana I wouldn't be able to go to sleep knowing that If Morales was anywhere near his prime he could have killed me. As it is Morales just schooled him and made him look lke a damn fool. Morales is the GOAT, nuff said a ****ing legend and I am grateful that I have been able to watch some of Erik Morales' career.

 

I was rooting for Morales and was trying to give him any round I could but could only find 5 to give him. A draw is just reaching and a scorecard for Morales just shows you were only scoring out of emotion and not reasoning. If fighter A lands 20 unanswered bombs and fighter B retaliates with 3 or 4 hard shots of his own, Im scoring that for Fighter A always.

For a power puncher, Maidana actually did a lot of slapping in a lot of rounds..

The only weak punches I saw Maidana threw all night were jabs..

 

Maidana pulled it out in the last two rounds...I had the fight even on my scorecard going into the 12th round but I gave that round to Maidana ...But still it was such a close fight the decision could have gone either way including a draw...But Maidana's late surge in the 11th and 12th greatly affected the outcome of this fight...But Morales with that badly swollen eye such early in the fight to fight such a great fight is beyong immaginable...:happy WARRIOR = MORALES :deal

 

I think it was at the end of round 9 or 10 where Morales got hit by 2 huge bombs in a row that would've put down most in the division...Morales won the round, but those were some of the most eye-catching shots of the night...Maidana's problem is he just rushes and throws bombs...He has never even heard the word "defense" before what it seems like...

Did I say every single thing he threw was a slap, and that he didn't throw a single meaningful power punch all night? Please, find the post where I said that. I'll wait...

 

What was your scorecard IB? I was getting krunk and didnt get a chance to check out the rbr.

would've been more satisifed with morales getting it than maidana, but won't complain. awesome battle.
