If Pacquiao struggled with a shot Morales, and the smaller JMM. How does he stand a chance with the far superior and bigger Mayweather... :think

"IF" is the key word. "IF" PAC did struggle agaisnt a "SHOT" EM, the one could argure, but he didn't and he beat a good version of EM twice as he was imporving. He stands a good chance at beating Floyd....I'd just be surprised if he did.

I don't think Morales was shot - because he went on to give David Diaz a hell of a fight and one that he almost won.

According to Freddie Roach, Morales was shot in the rematch. Also, Pacquiao did struggle with him for 6 rounds before Morales faded.

Morales is one of those guys that age quickly and have the weight problems, alot like Hatton.

Morales was at his best at 122 and 126. He was decent at 130 but didnt have the same power. Once he couldnt make 130 anymore he was in trouble because he just aint suited for 135. Once hatton cant make 140 he will need to retire.

Granted Raheem was a bad style for him but he also was slow in terms of speed and reaction time. If he fought a slick defensive type in his prime at 122-126 he could have atleast pressured him and forced the guy to brawl with him but Raheem was bigger than him and too fast for his diminishing abilities and Morales had no power at 135.

Why should he criticize Floyd for beating JMM when it was one of his best wins, if not the best, so far? Even experts have gone crazy enough to catapult Floyd to P4P#1 again because of that ONE GREAT WIN! Such stupid experts we have nowadays!:-(

Morales was shot. It just shows that David Diaz is not really a good fighter in which is Why Pacquiao wanted to fight Diaz so damn bad at lightweight to win an easy paper title.

I agree, a lot of questions need to be answered. For instance, would it been better if Pac did not rematch with Morales? Would the fans not criticize him more? Didn't Pac improve form the 1st fight and simply beat a shot Morales? Or Morales was still elite but Pac who could be peaking by that time really improved his skills? Morales was doing just as well beating Pac in the first half of the 2nd fight, can a really shot fighter fight like that?
Truly, it is so easy to conclude that a beaten elite fighter as shot if you completely ignore other reasons.
