Morales was easily shot even if he was winning the first half of the fight. Didn't you watch Morales corner man rubbing Morales legs like crazy? It shows that Morales legs was shot to pieces. Morales proved he was a shot fighter when Raheem easily beat him.

Just cause Morales was doing just as well in the first half of the fight don't mean Morales wasn't a shot fighter. In that fight Morales cornermen was rubbing Morales legs as to proved that Morales legs was gone meany shot. I give you an example, Vargas after getting tko by both Trinidad, De la hoya and had a serious back injurys, he look like a shot fighter when he had a broken cheek bone vs a bum Castlejjo. After that a shot Vargas did well vs Mosley in the first fight but in the rematch Mosley destroyed Vargas in which Mosley should have done in the first fight.

According to Roach Nard was shot before Joe C and Pav, Izzy was shot before the Marquez Rematch and the list will go on and on. PAC and EM had a tatical first half before PAC was able to take over. That doesn't mean he's shot....So Cotto is shot b/c he faded against Marg? lol be easy brah.

Shot isn't someone who can move up to a new weight class and beat a champion. EM after the PAC losses wasn't the same but before he was fine. He was good enough to beat David Diaz at 135 in a new weight which in no way shape or form makes him shot brah. If getting hit in the face brings someone to reality then go find a wall to introduce to your face homie.

Umm don't you think it proved that David Diaz was easily the weakest 135 pound champion??? Whyelse Pacquiao wanted to fight him and not real champions at the lightweight division? I hope Chavez beat Diaz cause i'll be laughing at everybody thinking Diaz was a very good fighter.

He was the weakest but he's still a champion. You don't beat ANY champion especially at the smaller weight divisions if you are shot. I'm with you about David being the most limited but he is rugid, tough and durable. He's a soild champion or was. Plus he was bigger. EM proved he was still a good fighter. Not at his best but still good. He did well before geting KO'd by Kendall who is a very good fighter and beat santa cruz who beat Casa.

The fight was a LW for which Morales didnt even make weight for I believe. Shows his lack of preparation, against a slick fighter he wasnt use to and a weightclass he has had no success in.

I felt Raheem won every round in that fight when I first saw it, and I still think that way now. If Morales wasn't shot there, he was certainly shot after it was over. No way in hell Zahir Raheem should have dominated him 12-0.

Pac was considered small for the weight at the time, people kept harping on about how he was at his best at 122-126.

Fighters can have bad nights, happens all the time. Was MAB shot when he lost to Junior Jones? The important thing is when Morales fought Pac he trained for that fight, evident by the fact he actually made weight and he fought well until the bodypunches got to him. You dont beat Pac first half of the fight if your shot.

He was definitely past it but no one in their right mind can tell me a guy can fight like that and be shot.
