Was Floyd even aware that he would lose to Dela Hoya in their fight?

The judges didnt think so...and wait for it, Floyd Mayweather Snr didnt think so, infact, Snr thought Oscar won...Now when your own father thinks your opponent won, we can agree it was a close fight.

So you agree that Castillo-Mayweather 1 was a clear win for Castillo then?

Your whole viewpoint on Floyd-Oscar seems to be defined by Compubox numbers, so why isn't your viewpoint on Castillo-Floyd 1 on the same basis?

Going by your logic, screw the scorecards, Castillo clearly beat Mayweather.

Scoring rounds is about clean accurate punches, Oscar wasnt able to do that effectively at any time

I just watched the fight for the first time and I'm pretty... don't know how to say it, shocked isn't the right word because you can think of something like that in Nevade when Oscars fighting, that the fight was ruled a split decision. I mean, I had it 9 rounds to 3 in favor of Floyd because he outlanded Oscar in most of the rounds while Oscar was missing or hitting Floyd's gloves. Yeah, Oscar threw some flurries throughout the fight, but that doesn't give you anything if you don't hit your opponent. The fact that the fight was in Nevada and all the fans shouting when Oscar threw those meaningless punches made it an Split Decision. Boxrec says that two of the three judges scored the final round for Oscar, but I thought that Floyd outlanded Oscar like most of the other rounds.

And well, I don't think Floyd didn't care about the outcome, his 0 was already at this point very important, and it's more important from fight to fight (he wins). Once he loses that perfect record he has nothing against Manny in terms of greatness, resumee and stuff like that.

And I really would love to watch Manny versus Floyd. I really want to see how he reacts to Pac's speed and offensive skills, and how Manny reacts to his great defense. Hopefully they stop that **** about that all around stuff, especially Floyd (and hopefully he finds his godamn urge to fight, I can't read that **** anymore about how he lost it).

And sorry for my random Englisch, I'm just a student from Austria (I'm not even a student anymore, I'm unemployed and in January I have to go to the army).

Oscar got the Last round because he finally landed a meaningful punch he landed that hook and they gave him the round even tho floyd landed the most, I gave it to Oscar too because I watched floyd for many years that hook hurt it wasnt a shane mosley hook by any means but when you fight a guy that big and he catches u clean you feel it most didnt see it because floyd ego plays it off oscar hurt him before the bell tho somewhat look close but i only gave oscar 4 rounds
i think people here hate floyd so much they see **** that aint their
and cant see **** that is
not 1 person on here noticed floyd got hurt in the 12th they dont pay attention to boxing

but they say they had the fight 5-7 6-6 and dumb **** like floyd made oscar look ****ing silly and oscar was huge because mayweather came to his division to beat him

therefore everyone else needs to come to floyd
hes the new golden boy and nobody has yet to match his numbers outside of 20 years ago by a man named mike tyson

Yes because Castillo outlanded Mayweather by 2-1, outlanding him round on round didn't he? Thats the same thing isn't it  Castillo in fact barely landed anything in the first 5 rounds. Compubox is also made instantly so allot of the punches that look like they landed on him that didnt are not accounted for. Floyd landed the cleaner flusher punches against Castillo

PBF beat Oscar 8-4 or 9-3 it was an easy fight to score. PBF took Oscar's jab away landed the cleaner and harder shots and watched Oscar fade down the strech on cue. It was really that simple.

Personally I think Mayweather just was at a place where he felt comfortable and wasnt trying to do any more or any less as long as it was 'enough', if it was all about the money with him he wouldnt have canceled their rematch in which he would have pocketed huge amounts of money to fight a guy he already beat. (and whatever excuse gets brought up, like 'well this time SR would be in hoyas corner', it still shows that JR isnt ALL about the money.

Also, if JR was all about the money, we would have had the Pac fight by now.

so 1 judge say Oscar won the fight, in the most biased way possible could you even bring yourself to agree with that judge?

thats part of it, cotto was landing the cleaner more effective punches in the rounds he was losing to margo while margos shots were wild and coming from everywhere and missing loads.

Thats his problem with the fans, hes not like he use to be he dosent care sometimes, He could have put away marquez, he could have made naz stop the fight, when ever a fighter is no longer a threat in the fight he backs off
Marquez hits him clean as **** smiles left hook marquez down
round 8 or 9 he acts like he goes for the finish marquez throws combinations at the air floyd jumps back and says **** this jab right light hook

Mosley tries to kill him smiles on jello legs ends round hooks him in the mouth few times rocks his head back numerous times lumps his fore head and lays the **** off him

some of the experts are right we will never ever see the best out of him untill someone engages him the entire fight with clean punches pac is dangerous in any round I want to see him be in a safe place with him
and im a fan i just feel like he is kinda selfish by not going for the ko even after he mentally beat his fighters, I could even be ahppy with a TKO
I mean Mosley was so mentally done he could have had naz stop it he just stayed in 3rd gear popping him same pace never bringing up unless he was provoked

No he didn't, i never saw floyd trying to counter oscars jab, he was slipping/blocking it, he countered oscars hooks and right hands.
