Multi division champ and pound for pound fixture speaks for itself. He's helping boxing by being a crossover star when the sport really could use one. I think he could have done a little more, taken some more risks and whatnot, but wasted talent? No way.

Void is boring..................however, when he fights a woman he looks really good. Void also chased a small child.

It's true he is a wasted talent. Winning legit non catch weight titles in multiple weight classes is a waste of time. Destroying a prime Diego Corrales proves nothing. Rematching the opponent of his one close fight and decisively beating him again was a waste of time. He should have stuck with Arum. Arum could have gotten Floyd a series of fixed fights that would have been worthy of his talent.

If he's the best fighter as he claimed to be, why is he not fighting?

Floyd Mayweather already had a great career before welterweight, even if he's damaged himself ever since.

Not a wasted talent, but an underachiever.

A wasted talent is one who achieved nothing with his talent.

Clearly not the case with Floyd. He has done quite a bit.

An underachiever is one who could have done more with what he had.

    That's Floyd.

This, he could have had a more impressive career, reputation, and been bigger for the sport, IMO.
