Was Floyd Mayweather, Jr's destruction over #4 p4p Corrales one of the best wins?

    Corrales was 33-0, #4 p4p in 2001.

    Destruction might be an understatement. Corrales didn't land more than 10 punches per round. Floyd was far too elusive, showed too much speed, power, ring generalship, iq.

    After 5 knockdowns, the fight was stopped by Corrales's trainer.

    Corrales looked like an AMATEUR in there vs a prime Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

    I do not see anybody in the history of the sport at that weight class beating the Floyd that was in the ring that night. He looked demonic.

    Good God, I'm rewatching this fight and it's such a masterclass.

    This man's boxing was UNREAL at that weight class.

    Full of power, with godlike speed, godlike ring generalship.

    I could see why everyone considers him GOAT of 130.

    Corrales did not land more than 9 punches in ANY ROUND. The #4 p4p fighter. Fking hell...

    Corrales was an overhyped bum . Shutup udksab. I'll take pacquiaos win over Barrera , a clear Mexican legend and proven p4p fighter that seemed unbeatable at the time over fcking bum ass corrales anyday.

    Corrales was beyond legit in those days. People need to look at the rankings at the time and then read articles that were written going into that fight.
