Was Floyd's performance impressive, or simply expected?

Put it this way my heart was pulling for Mosley, but my brain and logic figured this would be the outcome. With Mayweather winning in Mayweather style. Nothing he did was a surprise honestly. After the 2nd rd Mosley was gassed and Mayweather has the skill set to take advantage of it. He picked his shots and controlled the rest of the fight.

Still this whole notion of Mayweather going toe to toe is complete bs in my opinion. Marquez vs Vasquez that's toe to toe. I can't remember what round it was late in the fight, but Mayweather and Mosley started to briefly trade and something must have clicked in his head and Mayweather got the hell out of dodge. I thought it was funny actually lol.

Congrats though to Mayweather...He was the better fighter last night. Mosley tried to end it in the 2nd rd, but after that Mosley's age did show. Wish this fight would have happened sooner in their careers, but better late then never as the old saying goes.

I was throughly impressed. Here is what stood out to me

Mayweather's strength and power - Mayweather looked stronger than Mosley out there and his power was clearly troubling Mosley. I did not expect Floyd to outmuscle Shane

Mayweather's handspeed and timing - I questioned whether or not Mayweather still had the handspeed after the layoff. It looked a little off against Marquez, but not last night. His timing was absolutely brilliant. This is the biggest reason Mosley didn't want to throw punches. Mayweather was timing him perfectly and getting off beautiful counters

    Floyd was impressive AS ALWAYS.

Shane... would have made this fight much better a decade ago. This is the first time I've seen a fighter who landed just landed 2 big bombs almost go down from exhaustion.
