I saw the video today, after seen a scene about the fight on the movie Big George, (I didnt watch the movie, just the scene on You Tube) and noticed that in the movie George seemed ok after the getting up from the knockdown.

So I got inspired to watch the last round again, and sure enough, it seemed to me Foreman could go a bit longer. He was super tired but he was not dizzy or anything.

No doubt he'd still been ko'd.

    What is your opinion?

He was actually judged not to have made the count.

Strange because in the film the ref counted only to eight I think and in the actual fight the commentator counted to eight ..but who knows..the commentator was not the referee.

    No.

Remember that as Foreman was falling, Ali had the opportunity to hit him with one more big shot. Ali chose not to do that. Ali knew that Foreman was exhausted and had nothing left so he went slightly easy on Foreman.

If the fight would have continued, Foreman could have gotten more hurt as he had nothing left.

There's been a bit of disagreement over whether he made the count over the years. I can promise you he was judged counted out by the ref.

Zack Clayton was most certainly corrupt. As a judge and an official. Don King had him there for a reason. He also tried to force Clayton into being the referee in Manila. Eddie Futch objected and Padilla was chosen. Check Russell Peltz recent book for more on that.

As far as Foreman/Ali it looked like a superfast count at the sametime George looked like he was cooked. He didnt protest like he wanted to continue.
Foreman didnt object so it ended when it should have.

    No,he was knackered.
If he gets up then Ali's finishing him off straight away.

I dont really understand the question. Foreman was knocked out! There was a count of 10, and it took 10 seconds if you look at the clock in the bottom af the screen. Wheather Foreman could go on after being knocked out is irrelevant. Zack Clayton was maybe not the honest person in the boxing game according to several people, but he could count to 10.

It wouldn’t be suspicious if he was allowed to continue but he wasn’t gonna survive that round anyway, he was completely done and Ali was only opening up more and more.

Foreman wasn't gonna make it even if he got up. He punched himself out completely. Had his corner changed tactics in round 2-3, perhaps they could've come up with something, but by the 8th he was completely cooked. Ali would've eventually either stopped him late or won a very lopsided and obvious decision. There was no sting left on Foreman's punches for even a slight chance of a comeback KO outside of Ali simply sticking his chin in the air for a free hit.
