Was Foreman really weight drained in his first career and if so, how much and why?

Then why the hell were you objecting to people stating he dehydrated?

Because it’s in the context of giving Foreman a special pass.

There’s also a difference between “dehydrating” and being “dehydrated.” The latter would interfere with a prefight medical.

-It's a fact that he cut weight
    -It's a fact he dehydrated.

If people are using those two facts to give him a pass for losing that's an entirely different discussion.

6'4" 220 isn't all that big. A lot of NBA 2 guards are around that size, maybe a bit taller.

6'4 220 doesn't mean the same thing for everyone, genetics play a big role

I have heard he dehydrated. What are the sources that say he dehydrated? It makes no sense to me.

He said it himself in his biography and in tweets (I asked him directly and he confirmed it). Dick Saddler mentioned it a few times as well.

You're right, it doesn't make sense but it happened.

I'm just saying that without being severely dehydrated they may well miss that.
And you did not address how dehydrated he could become between the physical & the fight.
It would not be normal to be well-hydrated & just missing many punches making you extremely dehydrated.
And no evidence he iterally panicked.

Like G.C. said in a number of recent posts, & discussed in the fairly copious documentation, he routinely dehydrated before fights.

EDIT: 90% of all NON-HWs likely dehydrate before fights.
Then REHYDRATE, which Foreman was not doing.

HWs do not need to & seldom dehydrate!
When Louis allegedly did so before fighting Conn the first time, it must have weakened him.
