And then got smoked by Mayorga. Twice. By stoppage and then decision. Chain smoking, drinking , whoring, gambling, carousing Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga. The boxing deities appear to have determined that styles make fights. I felt bad for Mosely and I felt bad for Forrest when that happened. Boxing is great.

I'll always have a soft spot for Frankie Randall's upset of Julio C. Chavez.

That would be Tarver-Jones II, by a 3 mile high island.

This thread appears to have legs. Most satisfying? KTFO6 by far.

Forrest is beating prime Mosley but losing twice to Mayorga is a boxing paradox.

With his attributes, he should have handled Mayorga like Tito, Oscar and Shane did.

Lies, Mosley was never arrogant and cocky! Always was a stand up guy.

Were you so happy to see Mosley getting knocked down for the first time in his life by Forrest? Ayatollah Khomeini

Especially after JMM got jobbed on the scorecards in his previous three fights with Pacquiao.

Lol. The belt that he won against PM? I'm already prepared to hear how great a WW champ Paulie was. You're hilarious.

You’re hilarious. You keep making Broner look worse. First you make the excuse that he’s too small for Maidana, then you admit he beat a lower tier fighter for a title. Why even fight at welterweight if he’s too small and then say champ he did beat wasn’t that good?

Smoked? The first fight was competitive while it lasted with Mayorga seemingly amazed that Forrest had power. The second fight was a robbery and one of CompuBox's worst nights in boxing

I didn't say that he was "too small" for Maidana. I said that he is the naturally smaller fighter and the weight classes that they fought in proves that. Which makes Maidana's win not that impressive to me because the naturally smaller guy held his own once the smoke cleared. If I didn't like Broner, I would want a more satisfying defeat by the bigger and stronger man.
