Was Froch vs Pascal, more entertaning than any fight Calzaghe was ever involved in?

Its about styles,Froch is always good to watch cos he gets in and has a brawl.Joe was different he used his fast hands and was good at avoiding shots(most of the time)Answering the question yes Froch v Pascal was more entertaining than an Calzaghe fight ive watched and ive watched most of them.

 

It was a brilliant scrap but Calzaghe/Kessler was a massive event and a great fight. So had the all round package.

Strangely I found the one-sided beatdown of Lacy extremely entertaining as well.

Froch will always be in relatively entertaining fights when the other fighter also comes to fight because he has a non-existent defense and appalling footwork and movement, but luckily a half decent chin. Just goes to show that in the context of this question, inferior fighters can provide decent entertainment

Conteh Vs Saad 1 is more entertaining and skillful than all of Froch and Calzaghes fights put together.

 

I enjoyed Calzaghe / Kessler more, because it was the top two dominant fighters in the division facing off. Something that doesn't happen often enough in this sport.

Froch-Pascal was very entertaining because the two of them were at very similar levels. The both had good chins, could punch and had shockingly bad defence. It's a fantastic style mix that would always produce a good tear up.

Calzaghe on the other hand had many more dimensions than Pascal & Froch so his fights varied. Calzaghe/Kessler would have been such a war if Calzaghe didn't have the instinct to change what he was doing after 4 rounds.

 

I loved the Froch/Pascal fight.

But i could not in a million years rank it over what Joe did to Lacy, or the Reid fight (which i suppose has many similarities to the Froch fight), or the exciting way he devastated Mitchell, or the toe to toe war with Kessler.
Froch is good, but has a long way to go to match up to some of the fights Joe had.

 

Calzaghe v Eubank and Brewer were better/higher skill level for me, Froch v Pascal is a superb action fight though

 

That was a cracking little fight, and probably one of Joe's toughest fights. Brewer was hard!
