Thinking someone who has a history of lying, faking and ducking would do so again isn't remotely conspiratorial.

Dude there’s literally multiple post of people saying this exact thing was going to happen. Fury is so predictable at this point. I wish I could find that post from the summer when the guy said Fury will manipulate a situation where he is cut during camp to postpone this fight.

Probably, he is so full of **** who knows what to believe. I’ve been taking every Fury announcement with a grain of salt for years now. Unless he’s actually in the ring, it’s best not to pay attention to the guy.

I think Usyk's team needs more time to prepare, so they paid Fury to cut his eye with a razor.

Wow I'm shocked at the amount of people that think this was somehow planned, very interesting!

I mean, I can understand the sentiment, being as Fury has pulled so many stunts in the past, but I don't know if it would be possible to pull this off with so many people that would have to be involved that would know that would have to keep it secret.

But oh well, I really am not bothered by it much because boxing on the whole pales in comparison to the days when it was the greatest sport on Earth and the heavyweight championship was the most honored and respected title one could possess in all of sport. Back in the days when being the heavyweight champion meant something, and it felt good to be a fan.

Tyson's career is questionable. He is a fraud.

Many fighters have lied, faked, and ducked at times during their careers. Even great ones. Boxing in the old days was more corrupt than now - if you can believe that. In recent times it's more show business than sport with more "fighting" taking place on social media.

For some reason there are ppl here that have their undies in knots more over this than the Wilder-AJ farcical "saga". That one is much older than Fury-Usyk. Yet many say they'd still like to see Wilder-AJ. I'm one of them, even if it doesn't mean as much now. 3 months from now I'd like to see Fury-Usyk. Ruiz is another HW that can't seem to get good match ups made for various reasons. I'm disappointed that Wilder-AJ may never happen and the Fury-Usyk setbacks. But I'm not going to get bent out of shape about very wealthy fighters plans or schemes.

Regardless, it looks like Fury was cut in sparring. To think Fury faked a cut or wanted it to happen isn't only very conspiratorial, it's bad conspiracy theory.

When Foreman got cut in sparring before the Ali fight, people went crazy. There were even rumours that Ali and Foreman were being held in country at gunpoint.

And those were professional writers, nobody could let their madness out in a public forum that mattered then - you were just stuck repeating yourself in the barber shop or bar. Different now though.
