To be fair Gamboa shouldve been DQ'd. Salido wouldve knocked him out if not for the cheap shot.

Gamboa dominated Salido from start to finish. Even with that erratic knockdown that Salido gave him, and adding that Gamboa was deducted 2 points he still beat him UD so that says a lot of who was in control. Gamboa should have won by knockout but got reckless and almost got disqualified by hitting Salido in the floor. Much credit to Salido for being a true " man " and not acting furthermore hurt in order to win by DQ, much respect to him and the Mexican fighters.

Salido gave it his best but clearly lost to the superiority, athleticism and speed of Gamboa, nothing to argue there. ;)

Very clear win for Gamboa, even with the knockdown.

I had it 115-109, which was the middle score on the final cards.

Clear win but not necessarily domination. Gamboa looked frustrated that Salido didn't fold easily. But he did make a late push at the end, finished strong and sealed the deal the way a good fighter should.

Time for the excuses! Salido is one of my favorite fighters and I dunno, he just looked off. No combos from him like I'm used to seeing, no bounce in his step. He just rushed for the inside, focusing on the body, with the same attack over and over again. Might have been Gamboa forcing him to fight bad though, who knows.

Would love a rematch, pass on Broner.
