Was Gamboa Vs. Salido a very close fight in your opinion?

I think it was a close fight in which gamboa won.. good fight though.. would like to see pt. 2.

 

I wouldn't say "very close", but I think it was a very hard fight, in whch Gamboa had to work every second of every round. . . Salido definitely gave him some trouble with that awkward head movement, and looping overhand right.

 

Salido was lucky Gamboa hit him when he was down, if not it will have been a KO for Gamboa, Salido was hurt and in serious trouble, the fight was not close at all... Go hate some place else

 

really Doc? You know Salido is not in Gamboa's zip code it will be a slaughter...

 

You are right it was Gamboa who make fight his fight, that's why he looked that way, it happens when you face a fighter like that...

 

Ironic considering that Salido was on the canvas because he was hurt and the tap on the head was landed AFTER Gamboa scored the knockdown. Even more ironic is your comment. Gamboa wouldve knocked him out had he not landed the cheap shot since the action would not have been delayed and Salido allowed to recover for the point deduction.

 

Salido is the best win on Gamboa's record. It didnt seem so at the time.

 

Gamboa shouldve been DQ'd! Soto does it and Cortez dq's him but when on of his PR brothers does it, its all good.

Salido was about to knock him out that's why Gamboa gave him a cheap shot!

 

It was a wide and clear decision for Gamboa but by no means a domination or easy fight, Salido made him work. Gambos toughest test to date....still the fight was not close at all.
