Was Golota Drugged?

Golota was intimidated, and blown away. Had nothin to do with no drugs.

Lewis just hit a HELLUVA lot harder than Bowe, and was a helluva lot quicker.

 

The Golota worship of Eastside goes WAAAYYYY back.

Maybe I'm showing my age as a poster, the fact that I can remember following this place back in 2000.

Most of the forum picked him over Tyson. When he got his ass kicked - excuses for days.

 

Just look at Golota’s post Lewis career, there’s nothing to suggest he could have beat Lewis.
His whole reputation is based on two fights against an unmotivated Bowe.

 

Golota was always doomed against Lewis and Tyson, and not just because of the power - moreso due to speed.

Plain and simple, he was able to avoid more shots and navigate around the ring easier against Bowe because Riddick wasn't especially quick.

Lewis and Tyson found Golota's chin with a velocity that he wasn't capable of handling.

 

Brilliant! Made my day.

 

Golota was a quitter and is way overrated. He usually found a way to lose against good fighters, so can't imagine him ever beating Lewis.
But there's no reason to doubt the story about the injection, considering the lawsuit and settlement, etc.

 

Medical facts prove Golota being drugged and suffering a seizure. People saying he was intimidated are opinions. That's how I see it at least. How the fight would have gone had it not been for lidocaine...we'll never know. That's the truth.

 

He was robbed vs. Ruiz and Byrd.

 

Tyson never won by stoppage though. And Golota was quick to get up from the knockdown, so...

 

The Byrd and Ruiz fights (post-prime!) are suggestion the Pole would have gone right through Lewis!
