    I agree,
    So not past prime.
They can’t all be highlight KO victories.

I’m actually an impartial GGG fan who has been disappointed by his opponents as of late.

It’s ok to kick a few cans down the road, provided that he is also fighting belt holders along the way on a quest to unify the belts at 160lbs.
    (See Canelo @ 168lbs)

I am an impartial fan of both fighters.

Hopefully my critique of GGG’s opponents as of late is not misunderstood.

He needs to fight some actual belt holders,
Just like his “baby bro” Nelo @ 168lbs.

37 is every athlete's prime. Some don't even hit their stride until they are 40. If anything, this was unfair to Canelo who was a green 28 years old.

Did you ever see Hopkins or Jacobs? They are clearly bigger.

Are you smoking crack? Moving up two weight classes doesn't lengthen anyone's career.

Wrong. Boxing is 80 percent physical and 20 percent mental. That's why we have weight classes and not mental classes.

Hit stamina and strength were as top notch as ever and I didn't notice any drop in speed. But such things if he had lost just a little bit in terms of timing and reflexes are were hard to say. He was, what, 35? Very hard to rule out a slight drop by that age, but since he didn't face a really live body in the pros until he was in his mid 30's it's hard to say.

But he has consistently dispatched of the second raters with ease, still does, but has struggled a bit every time he has stepped up in class. I think that will be his legacy, fair or not.

For the last couple of decades, off the top of my head:

    Wlad, definitely.

Lewis, Calzaghe, Rigo, Tarver and Froch arguably. Glenn Johnson.

Vitaly probably wasn't pirme when he came back from injury in his late 30's, but he still looked amazing all things considered.
