GGG has great power and Canelo has a good chin. That being said in the second fight GGG was backing up instead of going forward when Canelo was going forward. That takes away from his power as he is not planted and torquing his body behind it. Also going forward and fighting the so called mexican style was something GGG should have done, it falls into his advantage and less chance of going to the judges.

My opinion on Golovkins power has not changed one bit. He's always relied on consistent shot placement and was never a one shot KO artist. I've been saying for a long time that Lemieux and Jacobs both hit harder. Despite that Canelo has a great chin and Golovkin had him thinking twice in the second bout.
