Was Hagler the best fighter in making adjustments in rematches

    ...yeah, hagler was good. i think the best ever though was joe louis. he had only one rematch with a guy wyho beat him the first time (schmeling) so the loss reverses aren't as plentiful on his record. but he always kayoed the guy who gave him trouble the first time with a quicker kayo the second.
    bob pastor went the 10 round limit in thier first fight before joe won the title and went 11 rounds in their title fight....but the improvement here was a kayo win over a decision.

    walcott gave louis so much trouble in their first fight that many thought jersey joe won. he gave louis some trouble in their rematch until louis exploded with a kayo barrage.

    who are some other fitghters that were great rematch guys?

    Brockton guys have a good rematch record but in a few of the cases the fighter was not the same guy (Vito Antufermo) but for the most part tough fights for the opponents have a lot to do with them not performing as well in the rematch
