Hatton was one of floyd's best wins but certainly not one of his toughest.

Oscar, Chavez, Augustus, Castillo 1 and 2 were tougher than the hatton fight in regards to the somewhat difficulty floyd had with them.

Mayorga isnt taylor made for anyone. Oscar unlike Shane however doesnt throw wide looping punches, has more pop and throws more crisp combinations.

You think Hatton that fought Mayweather would last 10 rounds with the Oscar Mayweather fought?

And was still coming off a victory over Famoso just a fight prior and had never lost at that weight. Mayweather made Hernandez look slow. He didnt retire because he was shot, he retired because he had a blood clot and torn cartilledge, of which before he was going to challenge for a title again against Cesar Bazan, a fight he probably would have won.

You can argue that Hatton was better at this stage in his career, but in terms of the opponent Floyd beat, Hernandez is unquestionably the bigger scalp.

Remember, Mayweather beat THE champ. Not some paper titlest. But the best 130lber in the division at the time.

How can you say Hatton was a better victory then Oscar when you admit that Oscar was bigger and better then Hatton?

Imagine what that Oscar would have done to Hatton had he fought Hatton. A guy who literally stood infront of oscars left hook.

LOL....Like I said...yea...I made a mistake. But you gotta understand....you are consistently on some borderline bull**** that made it easy for me to associate you saying something dumb like JCC is on the level of Ricky. You can look at it like this...I may have had a "******ed moment" by mis reading your post, but you got a life sentence for being ******ed.

No i dont, the size disparity is too big,Hatton's style is based on strenght and ihs ability to use that strenght to overpower fighters on the inside i dont think he could do that at 154 where he would be massively undersized specially when he already looked small at welter.

Most of what you say there is true, but it doesnt change the fact that Hernandez was past his best and was noticeably slower than he was some years before, its a good win for Floyd specially at such an early stage of his career but i wouldnt consider it a great win.

I said Oscar was better than Hatton prime for prime but at that stage of their careers Hatton had much more left in the tank than Oscar did.

Oscar lost cause he couldnt pull the trigger anymore and couldnt keep the same pace for twelve rounds,Hatton lost cause Floyd was a better fighter.

Oscar is the bigger name but for me Hatton was the better win taking into consideration where both were at that stage of their careers.

Castillo, DLH, Judah in that order - I think Floyd figured them all out, but it took longer than usual to do it. He spent the customary four rounds figuring out how to neutralize Hatton, and did so for the next 5 rounds.

    Nah.

Forrest lost focus after the Mosley fights and underestimated Mayorga. The second fight was close. I do think Mayorga is underrated in general, and Forrest at his best was a great fighter.

But to say nothing on Hatton's record comes close to Mayorga beating Forrest is underrating Hatton's win over Tzyu!

Is Cocteau taking the **** in this thread, or actually ******ed?

Mayweather broke slightly more of a sweat than average against Hatton, but it was far from his toughest.
