Hatton was a very good opponent for Floyd no doubt but Hatton got screwed big time in that fight. I don't know how much Floyd payed Cortez but I'm sure it was a lot. Cortez wouldn't even let Hatton get near Floyd for a second. Hatton fight is to get in and ruff Floyd up and work the body. Cortez and Floyd had a plan and they wanted none of that lol. How the F is a guy like Hatton going to beat Floyd boxing from the outside, g I'm surprised Hatton even did that good.

Ricky lost that fight because FLoyd is in another stratosphere compared to him. Hatton had a false sense of confidence going into that fight after beating on past their prime fighters like Collazo and JLC. Than we he finally took on a truly elite fighter, he looked like garbage.
