Was Hatton one of Mayweather's Weakest Opponents?

    I saw Mayweather playing with Hatton until he decided to knock him out.

    Skill-wise . YES .

    Hatton in nothing but a reckless brawler . someone skilled like Judah back in the day would have beat him down even worse than Mayweather did .

    Mayweather had only been off for 7 months, not a long time. Hatton was rough, very fast and awkward, this is the reason why Floyd appeared to struggle. To me, he didn't, it was just an ugly fight. A lot of holding, a lot of breaks, but Mayweather was actually doing most of the clean work on the inside. He actually had his timing down earlier than the 7th. He was snapping Hatton's head back with lead rights all night. His jab to the body was on display too. If anything Hatton started to break down by the round 7, so the work Mayweather was doing became more visible. IMO, this was a very good performance by Mayweather.
