Was Hatton vs Cotto ever in the works ?

    He did well against Mayweather upto a point, but yes ultimately he was outclassed. But the very fact he fought these guys is beyond any credit he would have got for fighting witter...

    Really? i thought he did well against PBF considering it was at 147 where he had looked like **** against Collazo.

    He was in the fight for the first 6 rds despite the joke that was Cortez that night.

    So unfair to Hatton as PBF had all the advantages that night.

    As for the Pac fight, it was a shell of Hatton he beat, after he lost to PBF he wasnt the same as proven against Lazcano, a blind man could see that wasn't the real Ricky against Pac, prime Hatton gives Pac fits and maybe beats him.

    Again Hatton being underrated, just another Pac opponent that was already destroyed and past their best.

    If anything Cortez saved Hatton by breaking them up as PBF was far better on the inside than Hatton.

    Hatton is lucky it didn't happen as at least now people can say "he only lost to the pound for pound best"

    If he fought Cotto i could see him getting body shot ko'd, Cotto is far ahead of Hatton in terms of class

    Not in 2005/2006 at 140 he wasn't.

    I like Cotto too.
