Was Haye a legit HW or just a blown up CW?

I am of two minds when it comes to Haye. Great talent. Picking up titles at CW and HW and then make a go for Big Scary Wlad is not half assed. But even so, he is a bit of a clown. And even more so is his trainer.

Yeah, that is a big black hole in the history of HW ATG ... either Klit should
just once fight SNV, otherwise they will never be ahead of him on the list.

Point being? Does this mean you would suggest all defeated fighters on Valuev's résumé to be blown up, or "fake" heavyweights just because Wlad would probably defeat him?

He has the size and skills to be a true HW.

    Just not the heart.

A question, a suggestion, a possibility, a proposition, a thought, an idea. I'll take that as a no.

Agree wholeheartedly. His size was alright, his skills very advanced, his speed and slickness ridiculous for a HW, even his chin held up perfectly against Wlad and but his heart didn't. Oh well.

Haye wasn't a blown up cruiser, he was a weight-drained heavyweight. The only reason he was ever a cruiserweight was because the limit was raised to 200lbs (a weight he still struggled to boil down to).

I couldn't imagine him being able to make 190 for more than 10 fights.

Simply put, David Haye's career could not have happened the way it did prior to 2003.

Hold on here, man. Advanced skills? My impression is that Haye has poor skill, but he had made up for it with talent. It worked out well until he ended up in the ring with that obsessive boxing freak Wlad.
