Bill Drover is a very good call to be Scotlands best ever Heavyweight. There is also Ken Shaw who twice fought Freddie Mills and also fought Bruce Wood**** & Jack London.
I am sure they can nick some other Canadian or Aussie... But as for 'Scottish' Scotsman it maybe Cornish, the only other name I can think of was that McCafferty who gave Audley his second pro win and looking it up finished 2-17-1...
Interesting thread. I have been following boxing closely for 30 plus years and can't remember a world class Scottish heavyweight in all that time. I guess there were some way back.
