Was Hector Camacho the best pure boxer of the last 40 years?

    You know i didn't really think of that hahaha. Hearns stiff jab might just turn the trick as you say :!:

    Especially if he doubles or triples a few, with such a small gap from the first jab till the second and third Norris will still be badly hurt and ready to go :lol:

    No.Howard Davis Jr. was a better pure boxer than Camacho was.

    I think if you look up 'pure boxer' in the dictionary, Miguel Canto's picture is there.

    Not by a long shot.

    And even then, I am not sure what a "pure" boxer is. I say it is the boxer who wins the most and is, ergo, the most effective.

    He's in the top 30, but there were probably several boxers around in his prime that were better than Hector.To be honest, Donald Curry was one of them, as well as Marlon Starling, and Wilfred Benitez.
