sometimes 'cor blimey' (archaic). An abbreviation of 'God blind me' used as an interjection to express shock or surprise.

He’d of stood Hagler on his head. And Marvin knew this.

OMG! Hagler was one of the most skilled fighters of all time and was a southpaw, stood on his head? Hagler was a far better combo punchder than Graham and had a 75 inch reach, longer than most of Graham`s opponents, Graham benefitted from a long reach, Hagler was better at feinting and landing shots, he was a far better offensive fighter than Graham was.

And people wander why some begrudge not very good boxers like Joshua the billions he banks (all the while biting the hand that feeds him as an active racist).

He lost three of those fights at the Olympics. The Italian beat him by miles.

Herol was a great fighter and a defensive genius. Yes, a few got through here and there but every ones entitled to an off day. Herol has to be up there for defensive ability. I wouldn’t say Joe Calzaghe had a better defence, Joe was a better all rounder and in my opinion is one of the best fighters of any era. He stayed undefeated for a reason, not many do.

    LOL

why the hell do you talk like Herol Graham was Sugar Ray Robinson combined with Willie Pep in one.

    Ridiculous overrating.

The victim complex that emerged from Joshua saying, once, on Instagram, to support black businesses, is hilarious. Incredible mental gymnastics just to feel like the victim. It takes a special type of white person to get upset by such throwaway comments. I'm white as well.

Hughie 'The Skirt' Fury put on a defensive masterclass against Joey 12 Parker as did Ricky Burns against Terence Crawford both ending in tame defeats with next to zero output towards opponents.

Jack Catterall is also a very good, but very boring, defensive boxer.

Calzaghe was one of our greatest fighters of all time with great offensive and defensive qualities with world class handspeed and boxing skills.

I’d have to say I don’t think the uk has produced an exceptional defensive boxer .

Graham-shadow realmed when he could have won.

Calzaghe-Dropped by old Hopkins and Jones, not really a defensive fighter, got hit plenty.

Witter- Quite a funky defensive style but got hit plenty as well.

The best British boxers I’ve watched are Buchanan and then Calzaghe, neither what you would call defensive boxers

Come on, bro, you must have known you were stretching it there. Graham was hardly ‘exposed’ at elite level. The two Kalambay fights were at most one or two swing rounds either way, and in the first fight there was all sorts going on behind the scenes with Ingle and Eastwood. And losing a point literally cost him a draw against McCallum. Those are fine margins, not exposure.

And the Jackson fight wasn’t some pre-planned masterclass where Julian took a beating for three rounds, got warned by the doctor it was one more round, simply to lull Herol into a false sense of security. He walked onto one punch, simple as that. Look what Jackson did to Terry Norris, and the career Norris went on to have afterwards. Elite fighters get caught, it doesn’t suddenly rewrite the level they were operating at.

I actually thought Graham beat Kalambay in the second and if memory serves me correct a point deduction for spinning vs Mike proved costly.
