Was I the only 1 who noticed Toneys weight gain since Thursdays weigh-in?

I just watched Toney-Lebedev on Youtube.Toney looked liked he had nothing on offense. He still had good defense and was able to see most punches coming, and his chin remains intact. For much of the fight James just didnt wanna punch,he couldnt. This is partly due to the weight loss. And then he gained so much weight after the weigh-in...He actually looked a little cut on Thursday night I bet he gained at least 12-16 pounds since the weigh in.Actually in last nights fight he still looked fat and out of shape. We still dont know if a truly in shape Toney can be a factor at crusier. He needs to stay at about 190 walking around,so he wont have to train as hard. This fight clearly proved he has something left.I would still love to see him fight the winner of the Roy Jones-Max Alexander fight.

We need to stop with the "an in-shape James Toney can be a serious threat." It's over. Father time has caught up to him and his once-great skills only exist on film now.

James Toney will have to sweat off pounds before the weigh-in to make heavyweight before long

He's 43 years old. Yeah I wouldn't mind a Jones rematch, atleast there will be little chance of Roy being seriously hurt against a similarly old and way past it fighter. Tarver-Toney, Tarver-Hopkins would be good too. Better late than never eh

He out to go see a shrink about his food addiction.Couple that with consistent light training and he could easily walk around at 190,195.

P.S.I have the best avatar on ESB

He looked shot when fighting at 257lbs and he looked shot at 197lbs. Him losing a few more pounds and getting in better shape won't bring back his reflexes, his balance and speed.

He looked terrible against Lebedev. His punches often fell short, he was off balance as he was often forced to lunge in to land a shot and even then he missed. His usual upper body movement was less effective as his timing was off. Toney is done, the only thing that he has left is a good chin and if he keeps on fighting that chin is only going to get him prolonged beatings.

Personally I hope you are right and somehow Toney can pull to all back together and give us a few more great performances, as he is one of my favourite fighters.

But I can't help feeling his time has passed. Hope is maybe all you have in regards to this. I remember when RJJ fans were given hope that RJJ was not shot after beating Sheika and Lacy when in reality it was clear to see Jones was done and could no longer compete at a decent level.

No, I noticed it too. Every time Lebedev moved him Toney's belly jiggled like crazy.
It's time people let go of Nostalgia, Toney's time is over, he hasn't been active in years, and he beat a HW bum at a career high weight, those of us (yeah me too) who picked a Toney upset, were banking on some form of the old James turning up.

It's like when Roy fights, I watch hoping to see a glimpse of the old Superman, we've just got to accept that their era is over.

I think Kostya Zoo training Lebadev has something to do why Lebadev was so good and Toney looked so bad. Don't get me wrong Toney has not looked very good after Sam Peter 1 fight but he has never been dominated like this! I don't think it has anything to do with weight Lebadev was step up from all these damon reeds type of fights and it shoved!

Toney expected Lebadev to be same as he was against Jones but he was improved! IMO

James Toney is my Fav Fighter but this is insane! Hes shot to pieces! Hes legs are gone and he cant pull the trigger no more. His chin is amazing though, One of the ATG chins. And his warrior sprit inspires me
