    Could be both Walcott and Langford... but with the "sad ending" in mind, Burt is probably thinking of Walcott.

    Yes it is the "Barbados Demon" Joe Walcott...At only 5ft1.5" he was a pocket Hercules, who fought much bigger men than he ....His biggest
    nemesis was the greatly underated Kid Lavigne who SHOULD be included
    when discussing great lightweights...
    Sadly Joe Walcott was a porter in the old MSG ,before he died...
