You are talking about Mayweather in the OP who never once fought outside the US so the comparison doesn't really make sense. Also this is not the first time Inoue has fought in the US so your opinion seems a bit strange. You are also making excuses for Fulton who was soundly beaten so it wouldn't really matter where the fight was as Inoue showed he was the superior fighter. I agree that fighting at home is an advantage and fighting overseas can be a daunting and nervous task but apart from the knockdown Inoue dominated the fight.
Nahh that’s been debunked already. Millions of times. Lol! And The usual suspects going on about it STILL desperately reaching for that narrative of “It wuz Legal shot!” looks pretty pathetic all honesty there Ace Almost as pathetic as being KOed by a jab. Well we both know Jokic deserves MVP CLEARLY but certain politics might prevent it. The season Jokic had this year was otherworldly.
He was more impacted by a left hook than the locality. Prior to the fight Tim Bradley was prescient when he showed the video where Nery dropped him with a left hook because Inoue has a bad habit of keeping his right hand down after throwing his own hook.
Was Joe Louis impacted by fighting in the USA when he was knocked down and stopped by Schmeling? When he was KOed out of the ring by Marciano? Was Muhammad Ali impacted by fighting in the UK when he was knocked down by Henry Cooper? Was he impacted by fighting in the USA when he was knocked down by Chuck Wepner? In boxing, even most of the greatest fighters get knocked down - but the great ones get back up and WIN, like Inoue did.
Exactly this. Inoue is not some safety first guy who is terrified of getting hit he is a warrior who likes to entertain the fans.
hes just fighting more durable guys who carry more weight behind their punches. he is still more powerful than most, and more skilled than most, but the scale is leveling out more at this weight. i think if he goes up another division he will look similar to loma. he will beat most but would lose to the top talent. i hope he doesnt go up any more. not yet. i think bam can challenge him next year. if they both stay undefeated and pick up a few more decorations. want to see that one so bad.
Floyd lost in USA to JLC so what are you talking about? And Inoue was KD in Japan and USA and went on to dominate and stop both opponents. Where was the advantage??? What kind of thread is this
Styles make fights. Inoue takes chances because he has confidence in himself - and he should. Inoue knows nobody can withstand his power and punch selection - and he's right. He gets caught early (just like your Floyd) and then adjusts and doesnt get caught anymore.
Possibly I guess, when did Inoue arrive in the USA? The hook probably had more to do with it tbh. Great fight from both guys, I'll be keeping an eye on Cardenas, quality fighter.
i was pleasantly surprised by his performance. even though he fights out of my hometown, this was my first exposure to him. this is his first step into elite level, against a top 3 p4p, and he gave him a real fight. work with him on some things and he can be a serious player.
Yeah it ends earlier you dumbass with Fulton leaving on a stretcher. I love how this Floyd cockjovkey of all people is complaining about some other fighter potentially having an advantage fighting at home. Oh the irony.
That's cause you're a ****ing casual who only follow the Gervontas of the world. If you actually followed the sport like a real fan instead of a dumb groupie you would know that Cardenas is pretty damn good and is a future champion. But hey you're too busy thinking about teenage boy Curmel like the creep you are you don't have time to focus on other real ass fighters.
Your Mr Chow goofy ass and your dumb takes on boxing. The other times Inoue fought in the States he had no problems or when he fought in the UK. How many times has Floyd fought outside of the US dumb****?
Yeah maybe. A long tradition says fighting overseas is tough on Japanese fighters. I think Inoue is crazy for saying he wants Fulton in Las Vegas. Risky business. And for not much in return.
