or right on the belt line?? IMO it was a great shot, and Zab was looking for a way out of the fight, because he was being outclassed, and eventually would have been stopped.

I think it was a great shot, but a little bit low. The referee, when giving instructions, made it clear to both fighters to keep the punches above the belt line. Khan's shot was clearly on the belt line, and I'm pretty sure the referee wouldn't have called it knockdown if he was in the right position to see it. A shame, because I would have preferred it if Judah was given time to recover and continue the bout. Khan was looking good and he was on his way to stopping Judah properly. That body shot ended the fight prematurely, in my eyes.

Couldv'e been low, but nothing like Zab acted like it was. Just a way out to collect a pay check

It wasn't a low blow at all! Pretty shot and Zab is a wanker :yep

Only the ref screwed up at the pre fight instructions saying everything on and below the beltline was low...

It was on the beltline. It was a warning punch for the ref to say "keep your hands up", but nothing to send a guy down with. Zab just wanted a way out. Stopping the fight was a great idea. Zab didn't want to fight anymore.

The ref did the right thing. As stated by many, Judah was looking for a way out. If the ref had called it a low blow or given Khan a warning, I have no doubt Judah would have claimed he couldn't continue, no matter how much time he would be given, therefore resulting in a no contest.

Yes it was a low blow. How could anyone not see it as anything else? Was it Zab's way out? Who knows? None of us are psychics in any sense of the word. However, if Khan was winning, then awesome! At least he was not losing and throw a foul only to win in such a manner. It was low, Judah did a poor job of showing it to the ref and the fight ended...period.

neither of those pictures show the initial contact of the punch. It was definitely a low blow by rule, because it was below the belt line, but it wasn't the debilitating blow to the nuts that Zab tried to say it was. It landed more on his hip than anything. So even though it was technically a low blow, Zab took the easy way out because he knew he could not win.

No it wasn't below the belt line it was ON the belt line, it's clear to see that. Now it looks low because zabs trunks are too high you can't even see his belly button. It was legitmate shot to the liver and zab couldnt get up.

It was borderline, and actually a low blow by what the ref said during the instructions.

But I don't care much, except that I wanted a more exciting conclusion. Zab was discouraged and wanted out IMO, just like in the Clottey fight, when ever the doctor said Zab was faking.

It's funny to see a guy claim his balls are on his hip area. Much like when Kirk Johnson hit John Ruiz around the hip/thigh area, and then Ruiz flops to the floor and grabs his nuts.

On the belt. Technically low, but well above the groin.

Not as good as the shot that took Maidana down. Judah is a quitter.
