There is no possible way of knowing his intention when he put up the tweet. None of us know what was going on in his head if he tweeted it. If it was a calculated move or if he was emotional at the time. He could have easily only been thinking about what he could do to help rather then thinking on trying to gain attention and vise versa.

If you don't read into him tweeting it to much then its not a big deal. Why do we care that much that he tweeted it? If you feel he is only looking to get attention from this then don't give it to him.

Instead there is a thread made on the subject giving him more attention.

 

it is if he assumes that none of them have money to bury him...his daughter is very successful , he wasnt dirt poor.....to assume they would take charity like he is dead broke isnt the best thing....but it was a nice gesture, just went about it the wrong way

 

How does it make him look attention starved? I dont know how he announced it, but he maybe was tweeting or facebooking it and just wanted to make it known the funeral was taken care of. And let hope its a fitting send off for such a great fighter.

 

floyds move is just publicity, a small statement from him would have been nice.

In fact, I can personally message you every time I buy a candy bar from a school kid just to let you know how great I am.

I gave him a ton of respect when it leaked out about Genaro's funeral. This, is just classless.

 

I don't think innapropriate is the word to questions his motiviation for announcing this. Just self serving.
