For me it was. Considering the quality of competition, the level of heart displayed by both fighters, the brutality, the ebb and flow, the drama. The only thing that fight was missing was a decent crowd. Hats off to both guys, and hope they're both able to return to the ring faculties intact.
Crowd was into it, though. Remember that Corrales-Castillo 1 only played to a half-full arena, but you wouldn't know it from the noise they were making. And yeah, it's one of the better fights that has occurred in this decade...Maybe even in this century. Pretty awesome to watch.
It was a hell of a war great fight but I really think both guys need to take a long time off.Bradley may need to be thinking about getting out he's had a good run.
Idiots booing after the fight kinda ruined it for me... But what a fight!! As I was saying in the RBR FOTY sofar.
I think some fights were better due to the higher skill level involved with just as much drama. Like Marquez vs Pac.... or Corrales vs Castillo. This does rate up there though.
Can't argue with that. Instant classic! I can't ever remember seeing a top flight fighter get battered like that. As far as the decision, it really doesn't matter, both fighters came out winners last night. So did we
:deal I agree. Bradley went thru the toughest fight of his life against an unknown basically and almost got stopped. Great fight, alot of drama, rematch down the road hopefully. We'll see where both go from here.
