Was it worth it for Briggs?

    Guy got his face beat in all night, now is in hospital with a concussion and fractured every bone in his face. Was it all worth that just to say he went the distance with Vitali? I give him mad props for never going down during that huge beating and not quitting, but the damn ref or his shitty corner should have stopped the fight long before. Hope Birggs doens't have any long term damage from using his head as a target.

    alot of fighters get far lighter cheques for worse punishment. it his proffesion as well.

    He got a million payday, which is fine, but his team should have pulled him out after the 8th round. From that moment on it was all unnecessary punishment that may have cripped his health.

    I'd gladly take an ass whipping for 12 rounds for the amount of money he made for that fight.

    So money is worth dying over? THey said they took him to the hospital to because they were worried about bleeding in the brain. You can't spend money if you are dead. Plus its not like he had to finish the fight to get paid, he was getting that money either way.

    it was 500,000 only... just sad that Briggs had so much pride and the ref didn't stopped it.

    He only took home 500K, a poor mans title purse considering what PBF, DLH and Tyson have made in their challenges.
    I hope he has medical insurance or his bills could equal his payday.
