At heavyweight the argument can be made but pound for pound it's hard to look past Zelenoff.

 

Fierce in terms of his relentless attacks, or in the sense of being an intimidating specimen? In either case, I'm not so sure. Men like Liston, Tyson and Foreman have scared a fair number of brave challengers, and were fairly ruthless in their persuits of utterly destroying their opponents, so I'm not so sure that this claim can be awarded so easily to just one man.
